Modyst, an incredibly talented US rapper, often brings his delivery on some of chillhop OGs’ instrumentals – and the foundation of “Isolation” here is thanks to French beatmaker Saï T. Airy samples, plucking guitars, warm keys, and boom-bap beats float underneath Modyst’s skillful & speedy, yet effortless flow. The song is part of Isolation EP, the first project since 2023.
